Due to the European Youth Week, I could give presentations at schools about this topic. It is exciting to be part of the European Union, and the opportunities it gives us.

Since more than ten years ago, European Youth Week has provided a popular and exciting opportunity for young people to get involved in EU politics by sharing their opinions and learning about opportunities offered to them by European Programs. This year the week will take place 1-7 May in whole Europe.  The aim of this edition is to promote the social and solidarity commitment of young people, to spread the Erasmus + program and to celebrate its 30th anniversary, and to listen to young people's ideas on how to shape the future of European Union youth policies. Emphasis will also be placed on publicizing the recently created European Solidarity Body to encourage young people to join it.

In order to inspire other young people, a young person has been selected for each country (change maker), people who have been involved in the program and who will participate in various events such as a visit to the European Parliament.

Also, in every country there will be different activities for youth people depending on the homeland.

Finally, I would like to say that we would like to achieve Intercultural understanding, human rights and mutual respect between young people from Europe and because of this week people will be more aware about it.
